Vibrant heart of ancient Rome
25 minutes by metro
The Imperiam Fora are a series of monumental squares built in the heart of Rome between the 1st century B.C. and the 2nd century B.C. by Julius Caesar and by later Roman Emperors. These spaces, once animated by intense political, religious and commercial activities, were important centres for Roman Empire.
Each Imperial Forum (Caesar, Augustus, Nerva and Trajan) has distinctive architectural features and a unique atmosphere. Impressive colonnades, magnificient temples, basilicas and triumphal arches create an urban scenery of extraordinary beauty.
