Colosseum
A stone colossus that talks about history
30 minutes by metro
The Colosseum, whose official name is Flavian Amphitheatre, is the largest Roman amphitheatre ever built and one of the most recognizable symbols of Rome. Located in the heart of the city, this enormous building is a testament to the greatness and engineering mastery of the Roman Empire.
Visiting the Colosseum feels like stepping back in time. Walking among the ruins of this stone giant, you can imagine the vibrant and noisy atmosphere of the shows that took place inside. The obvious signs of age and scratches do not affect the beauty of this monument.
